A sore point for many is their eyebrows. Either they are too thick, too thin, wild looking or the shape is not right. Try these tips to keep them looking great.
- Get waxed. Have your brows professionally waxed so that you will have the right shape from the start. Waxing pulls strands from the roots which helps prevent in grown hairs. Keep brows full overall; thickness makes you look younger.
- Color in. Once your hairs have grown in maintain them by filling them in with a pencil if you see any holes in the body of the brow. Brush up with a brush and tweeze any strays.
- Pluck carefully. Don’t remove hairs at the inner corners or ends – you want length. Never remove clumps of hair, pluck one at a time. Less is more is the motto, over plucked eyebrows are not attractive.
- Brush on a brow gel to finish. It is like hairspray and keeps brows in place. After your waxing or selective plucking do not put makeup on the area. Let the skin breathe so that the pores don’t get clogged which can lead to in grown hairs.
