Originally, I began my smoothie journey in an attempt to lose a few pounds. I figured blending a mixed salad with fruits and vegetables would make for a lighter and healthier meal, instead of putting my stomach to sleep every night filled with meat and potatoes. Turns out, not only did I lose weight – I also started to notice a positive, healthy, and glowing difference in my skin! Note to self: give your body the nutrients it needs to function properly.
