Same here. At first I was afraid to undergo brazilian bikini waxing due to the feedback I got from my friends that It's too painful. They added it feels like hell to be waxed. But then I tried it and thought if it really hurts, I might kill the aesthetician, lol. Na.. the truth is I walked in the clinic with legs crossed. But then when I finally experienced waxing, its not the same as what they've told me earlier. I can withstand the pain and impressed with the result. So that's it.

She was probably still too red for you to have waxed her the next day. I would have probably have made her wait at least 3 days. Sometimes after sun exposure it takes a while for the actual result to happen. Its like when you burn your arm on the toaster, it may be red that day but it will probably be a couple of days until it blisters. Her skin from the tanning probably had not resolved yet and then you put on the hot wax and just intensified everything. Also for your protection, ask her to come in and see the "destroyed and scarred" abdomen. Sometimes things look worse than they are.

Similar thing happened to me, I have a regular client and when she arrived for her app. she filled out her con. form and signed it as usual. When I was inspecting the area to be waxed she looked very flush, and I asked her was she on the sun bed/shower, yes she said about 3 hours ago. So needles to say I had to go through the consent form and help her realise it is for her safety to be honest. Off she went and made app for next day. I waxed the half leg with strip wax and her bikine line with hot wax she is a tender client so its done at a slower pace. I then used strip wax for her abdomen just the little area at the top of her brief line all went well. UNTIL the following day she told me that the abdomen region was destroyed and scarred, i was shocked and i just cannot understand how as it was the usual proceedure and products previously. Can U shed ANY LIGHT on this for me. Really appreciate it. thanks:-)
